IMPORTANT NOTES:

Cuddle, Shag, an Plush fabrics

These are not suitable for cage blankets and do not wick wetness like other fleeces. These are very soft fabrics to snuggle into however and great to use in places that do not frequently get wet. When selecting these in beds or couches, the added pad will receive a matching fleece that will wick wetness on one side if not asked for differently such as on both sides.

Rats and Ferrets may prefer the Cuddle and Shag fabrics for the sink into warmth feeling.
Cats may also appreciate the Cuddle and Plush fabrics that will not hinder their kneading claws.

Sherpa / Sherling fabrics
These are used best in places that are frequently wet and/or slept in often. Great for portions of Cage Blankets,  Pads, and pads for Beds.
Awesome to use year round as this fabric allows a measure of air flow in it's weaves, more so with longer hair animals. If health problems exist due to wetness and/or bedding problems, we recommend using this as the most affordable solution. (tip: use on reversible pads with a anti-pill or polar fleece).
Also recommended for those with heart and diabetic health problems.

Berber fabrics
These are the number one best fabric for keeping guinea pigs dry in our opinion. However there is many types and finding the correct can be rather difficult now days. In addition, these are expensive in comparison when a direct need of it is not needed. (see Sherling for most cases).
Berber fabrics I do not list and offer only on a case by case basis when other fabrics fall short of meeting needs. Please contact Becky if you have need of items with this fabric. This fabric generally costs more and will effect price of items. Color preferences is not always a option in what is obtainable.
Most popular use - surgery & recovery areas - long trip carriers.  Mostly used with - Skinny & Peruvian guinea pigs.
