What is the benefits of using fleece?
Fleece is used to wick pee, water and moisture away from your pet. This results in a dryer surface that your pet uses all day.
Additionally, a dry area will help cut down on bacteria that can grow on wet feces (poop).

What is the cost differences of fleece vs. traditional bedding?
The following information is based on once a week full cage cleaning for a single 2x4 C&C (approx. 30" x 60") cage size for throw away bedding and two full cage cleanings for Cage Blankets in one week in 2005.
Costs references of throw away bedding was taken from local Target and Wal-mart stores. Fleece cost is based on local self serve laundry shops. No shipping or travel time is calculated into these costs.
Kiln Dried Pine approx. monthly cost: $25.00
Pine Pellets approx. monthly cost: $48.00
        Aspen approx. monthly cost: $40.00
Care Fresh approx. monthly cost: $72.00
The Original Cage Blanket approx. monthly cost: $16.00

What makes The Original Cage Blankets the better choice?
Original Cage Blankets are made with particular materials inside to help cut down the bacteria growth that can happen with layered fleece and towels or pads. This helps to aid in fighting against URI's, although the research to support this statement is still underway. To date, we are still the only ones who have this particular batting that we know of.

Tell me something that you hear the most about the your products.
The most often things we hear is how much both animals and people love their new items.

I have a pet with a medical concern, what can you do for him/her?
Many pets great and small can have difficulties of various types, what I do is create something to help accommodate that difficulty. Sight, neurological,  walking, and arthritis to name a few, along with reoccurring health problems such as bumblefoot, wet buttocks, URI's, and impaction. There is many health related issues that customers found our products was the last resort they needed for all different types and breeds of animals. Our customers have even specified a number of times that Vet Bed brands were less helpful and more costly then Cage Blankets and Pads.

What makes your Cozies , Pockets, Tunnels and other things so special?
Your happy pet in them of course!  We simply create things and try not to toot our own horn. It is you and your companions that makes things so special.
It does also help to know that you can use these products without the worry of overheating with our opening supports, as well as feedback from customers that have items that are several years old and still holding up great.

What payments do you accept?
See general ordering & payment policy page.

I'm in another country, can I still place a order?
Yes. With customers in Canada, London, France, and Ireland to name a few. We send our products out on a personal level to try and avoid any customs fees for you as well. However, we have learned that larger orders over $100 have gotten added customs fee which you will be responsible for. Each country has different rules so please keep that in mind. Also visit the Shipping page for more information on price estimating.

I really like your things, but I'm on a fixed budget, can I do payments?
Payments are allowed on some orders. See general ordering & payment policy page.

What is your refund and/or exchange policy?
We do our best to avoid any need for this and have only had one item returned in 5 years and two exchanges. If there is any problems when you receive your order, please contact me within 10 days of date items are received. All items requesting for exchange must be returned unused. Shipping costs are not refundable. Return shipping is reimbursed when we have made a mistake, use a tracking number when returning items. Items will be resold before exchange is given, which may be lower then initial cost but not greater. Embroidery work on any item is "as is". We test wash everything before you receive it to avoid possible errors as a courtesy, which also makes items ready for use when you receive them.

Beginning January 1st, 2010 - all sales will be final.

What are your embroidery guidelines?
Pre-made items (unless stated otherwise) may not be embroidered.
Child's Names / Nicknames -- we will not place on any clothing item, purse, bag, or other article they would carry outside of the home for others to see. This includes school, sports, and scouting uniforms. Alternatively we will make patches that can be safety pinned or patch attached (glued) that you may do yourself.
Most anything can be embroidered upon, a few examples less thought of is; leather, purses and bags, bath towels, and even cardstock.
Our personal guidelines --  if you can dream it, chances are, we can make it.

How easy are your products to care for and clean?
Simple as adding detergent as the washer starts to fill and placing items in to the wash. We do recommend turning tunnels, cozies, & pockets to fleece side out to get the fleece clean inside. Very limited products need special care which you will be notified of before hand which is generally small items, or gentle cycle items such as Quilkets.
